Jean-Pierre Subrenat is the chairman of the World Perfumery Congress and has been the chairman since the 1998 WPC.
The World Perfumery Congress is the major international event that is organized every 3 years by the American Society of Perfumers. Since 1998, the WPC has been held in Cannes, on the French Riviera, a neighbor of Grasse, the epicenter of modern perfumery. This congress is open to all people who have an interest in Perfumery; creators, researchers, marketing people, sales, management, marketers, retailers, equipment manufacturers, glass, carton, paper, plastic, caps and pumps manufacturers, advertisers, public relation firms and all the people who love perfumes. Our participants come from all over the world; all five continents where well represented at the last three congresses, from the USA to China, from Europe to South America, Indian, South East Asia, Pakistan, Japan, Russia, Australia, at WPC 2007, 37 countries were present.
